He is the director of Competitive Advantage, an Amherst, Massachusetts based consulting firm that works with coaches, athletes and teams at every performance level. Dr. Goldberg has worked extensively with swimmers of all ages and abilities, from age-groupers to world class. As a "head coach", Alan specializes in teaching swimmers how to overcome blocks and get the most out of their physical potential both in training and competition.
