Matt Richards is a British swimmer who specializes in the 100 and 200 freestyle events. At the 2020 Summer Olympics, Richards won Olympic gold as part of the Great Britain 4 x 200-meter freestyle relay team. He also won gold in the 200 freestyle at the 2023 World Aquatics Championships and another gold in the men's 4 x 200 freestyle relay.
