Ex-CIA Russia Analyst warns tides are changing for US as ‘sole’ superpower, ‘China and Russia are pushing back'

George Beebe, former head of the CIA Russia analyst desk, warns of the changing of the world power dynamics as America moves away from being the "world's hegemonic and unrivaled’ superpower, not "really having to compromise or "engage in traditional balance of power politics." The Director of Grand Strategy at the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft explains that after the cold war ended, the United States, "could simply tell other countries do this or else because we had such overwhelming power that nobody could really say no.
