In August of 1991, Metallica released their self titled album, commonly referred to as the "Black Album". WIth mainstream rock anthems like "Enter Sandman" and "Wherever I May Roam" and beautiful rock ballads like "The Unforgiven" and "Nothing Else Matters" album quickly went to number one bringing in new fans.
