He's certainly not played up to the level of Cale Makar or Quinn Hughes this season, but as an all around defensemen he's one of the best. He comes in at #3 in this year's ranking behind those two and ahead of Adam Fox and Charlie Mcavoy. This is a great sign due to the fact Heiskanen is having a down year offensively. His skill set other than just his point production are putting the league on notice! The Dallas Stars face the Ottawa Senators tonight in game three of a four game road trip.
