Avs Beat Up on Blues to Get Back in Win Column, 4-1

Sometimes the right opponent comes along to get you back into your groove. Was it all pretty? No, but most of it was, and it was more than enough for the Colorado Avalanche to get past the St. Louis Blues relatively easy, 4-1. A first period goal by Ross Colton ended the team scoring drought, then another was added by Mikko Rantanen on the power play to end that drought as well. St. Louis did pull to within 2-1, but you had the feeling the Avs were in command of this one. A couple more goals in the 3rd and that was all she wrote.
