The next step for the return of Gabriel Landeskog is here, and it is the most significant one yet. Landeskog is heading to the Colorado Avalanche AHL affiliate, the Colorado Eagles, for a conditioning assignment. This allows him to play meaningful games with the Eagles and not count against the Avalanche cap. But the more important thing here is this will be the first live action he has seen in almost three seasons. It's really happening.
