The New York Islanders signed free agent forward Anthony Duclair to a four-year deal worth a total of $14 million. Duclair adds speed an skill to the lineup and at 28, is still in his prime. Duclair played junior hockey under Patrick Roy and Roy's presence behind the bench was a major reason he signed with the Islanders.
