The Food and Drug Administration on Thursday approved the first over-the-counter birth control pill in the United States. The landmark move could help make contraception more accessible across the country at a time when access to birth control and abortion is being restricted. The Federal Trade Commission has opened an investigation into OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT.
