Since 2019, she has served as vice president for Global Newborn and Child Health for the American Academy of Pediatrics . While she was in Washington, DC, at the Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) meeting, we had the opportunity to sit down with her to discuss the state of global pediatric health and some of the AAP initiatives designed to improve pediatric health no matter where a child lives.
