Fan Mail Portal Heya, I wanted to work on a warm up that is a minor pentatonic descnding run, and on open vowel sounds. Then we head into a song about my chickens. Here's the words - Amin C7 You Never let me down, you always pick me up, Amin F G You never shut me out, But now you’re out there looking for dirt. There is a worm solo at the end. I wanted to work on letting notes ease out to a gentle end, or to end abruptly. Thanks so much for listening, lotsa love. https://marvellstreet.com/ Your CODE for 15% off the awesome coffee is Sing15 Marvell Street Coffee Roasters Marvell Street Coffee Roasters Byron Bay - Ethical, sustainable, expertly crafted specialty coffee Support the show https://www.patreon.com/Shelly_Brown www.shelly.com.au https://www.instagram.com/ shellybrownmusic/

In this lesson we look at the Relative minor scale as a warm up. 1, 2, flat 3, 4, 5, flat 6, flat 7, 8. For my exercise I leave out the flat 6 once I get going. We then look at two songs and moosh them together, a song called ' Wondering where the Lions are " by Bruce Cockburn. Such a random song to call on, but it caught my attention, so there ya go, and a Darren Percival song called " Down in Africa ". Hi Darren!
