In this original story for the Sleep Mountain series, we’ll spend a warm autumn day with mama bear and her cubs in the madrone grove across the canyon. In 2023, every month, I’m going to read at least one original story for you that I wrote myself. The stories are about life here on the mountain, ours as well as all the animals, with some fiction and maybe even a little fantasy woven in.
