Biodynamic farming was developed in 1925 as an advanced form of organic farming. This type of farming will include harvesting based on the lunar cycle, and they create natural organic potions for the vines. [38:35] Natural Wine Is Always Fermented With Wild Indigenous Native Yeast The next hallmark of natural wine is that they are always fermented with wild indigenous native yeast. Commercial wines are always fermented with GMO lab-cultured yeast. You can't make commercial wines using wild native yeast because the yeast is too unstable, and it won’t work in large volumes. That’s why natural wine growers don’t have brand names; they can’t create enough wine using wild yeast.
