We had to chase him for a while, but we finally got Mike Plantinga to join the show! What a journey Mike has had from moving to Toronto fro a summer to earn a nomination for Youth Worlds to leaving U of Alberta early to commit to beach full time. He has been grinding since he arrived in Toronto where he was a baker, server, coach and many other odd jobs just to keep his head above water. Great story and great guy to root for! Mike is a National Champion, Top 4 Finish at Pan Am, an proud owner of the Galaxy Volleyball Club. Mike is an amazing family man, and with that you can hear his recently turned 1 year old son in the background a few times.
