The Philadelphia Phillies allowed SEVEN HOME RUNS as they fall to the New York Mets 11-4. Mick Abel got his first taste of the Phillies-Mets rivalry and it DID NOT go well for the 23 year-old righty. Abel allowed four solo homers to the Mets over his three innings of work. He also surrendered six hits. Abel wasn’t alone in giving up the long ball. Bullpen arms; Joe Ross, Michael Mercado and Taijuan Walker all gave up homers as well. Phillies now try to win the series with Jesus Luzardo on the hill Sunday night against David Peterson.
