David Peterson and the Mets bullpen shined to lead the way for New York, as they defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 2-1. Edwin Diaz made it a little interesting in the 9th but he was able to secure the save and the sweep for the Mets. Another quieter day for the Mets bats, who were able to do some damage early courtsey of Pete Alonso and Brandon Nimmo but that was all. Max Kranick, Reed Garrett, A.J.
