The defense definitely wasn't on point in DC for the Dodgers with 2 errors, as the Nats grabbed a 2-0 lead on Dustin May in the 2nd. Shohei Ohtani would homer in the top of the 3rd to tie the game. The Nats would add to their lead in the 7th when James Wood homered. The again were scrappy grinding their way back into striking distance with rbi singles from Mookie Betts and Will Smith.
