Early left with a 1-0 lead and a runner on in the 6th and was charged with the run after Greg Weissert game up a game-tying, 2-out RBI Double to pinch-hitter Tyler Soderstrom. Early in his 1st 2 Big League starts has given up 1 earned run over 10.1 Innings. He's walked only 1 and struck out 18. He's allowed 10 hits in the 2 starts, both vs. the Athletics, and they've all been Singles. ----- Sox at the DISH: The Red Sox had the bases loaded and no one in the 2nd Inning but failed to score. Ceddanne Rafaela struck out and Romy Gonzalez hit into a 6-4-3 Inning-Ending Double Play. Sox got on the board against Jeffrey Springs in the 3rd with Rob Refsnyder reaching with a 2-out walk and scoring on an RBI Double from Carlos Narvaez.
