The Red Sox and Rays will open up a series in Tampa, FL Monday night. ----- Red Sox Trade: The Red Sox traded Pitcher Quinn Priester to the Milwaukee Brewers for minor league outfielder Yophery Rodriguez, a competitive balance pick (#33) in the 2025 MLB Draft and a player to be named later or cash considerations on Monday. Rodriguez was touted as the 7th-best prospect in the Brewers system according to MLB Pipeline. He’s 19 and started this season off at the Advanced-A Level. Priester was acquired from the Pirates last July for infielder Nick Yorke.
