The Red Sox (78-64) opened up their 6-game road trip with a 10-5 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona. The loss snapped the Red Sox season-high 4-game road winning streak. The Red Sox fall to 4.5 games behind the Blue Jays for 1st-place in the AL East. The Blue Jays took the opener from the Yankees in the Bronx Friday night, and the Red Sox remain a half game behind the Yankees for the top AL Wild Card spot. ----- Sox at the Dish: The Red Sox managed only 1 run over the 1st 7 Innings and managed to get to within a run with 4 runs across in the 8th against the Arizona bullpen. Nathaniel Lowe knocked in Boston's first run of the game with an RBI Triple in the 2nd Inning against former Red Sox hurler Eduardo Rodriguez. Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with 2 Singles, and he's now hit safely in 8 straight games.
