It's Sogard's first time in the big leagues this season. Gonzalez is dealing with a left quad contusion. He was involved in a collision at 1st-base during the Rangers series at Fenway. Sogard made his MLB debut with the Red Sox in 2024 and had 21 hits, including 4 Doubles, in 31 Games. ----- What's On Tap?: The Red Sox conclude their weekend series in Kansas City Sunday afternoon. Lucas Giolito and Seth Luga are the probable starters for Sunday. After the series concludes in Kansas City on Sunday, the Red Sox are off to Detroit for a 3-Game set against the Tigers with the series underway on Monday.
