The Tigers secured a 4-2 victory, thanks to a stellar performance by Riley Greene, who went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs, including a crucial solo shot in the bottom of the 8th inning to extend the lead. Keider Montero delivered a solid start for Detroit, pitching five shutout innings while allowing just five hits and striking out one. Jason Foley closed out the game with a flawless 9th inning, striking out two batters. Despite a late home run by Adley Rutschman in the 8th inning for Baltimore, Detroit's bullpen held strong, improving the Tigers' record to 76-73 on the season.
