About this episode
Detroit Tigers blew out the Chicago White Sox 13-1 in the opening game of the series in Chicago. Kerry Carpenter hit three home runs as the Tigers hit 5 as a team in the route. Parker Meadows made his season debut and immediately made an impact defensively while also stealing a base and hitting a double. Jack Flaherty started the game and pitched 6 innings allowing just one earned run in his fourth win of the season. Dillon Dingler and Wencel Perez also went yard, while Riley Greene, Parker Meadows and Javy Baez each made tremendous defensive plays, not to be out done by a wild defensive play when Dillon Dingler and Zach McKinstry combined to catch a pop up in foul territory. Detroit Tigers are the first team in MLB to 40 wins, same two teams tomorrow in game 2 of the 4 game series.
