One of Christy's favorite jobs of the many jobs she does is going on KCRW's "Press Play" to talk movies on Friday mornings with the great Madeleine Brand . (Alonso and Matt also have been frequent guests.) This time, she got to turn the tables and ask Madeleine the questions. Eventually they will have a conversation that doesn't involve mics and headphones! They talk about growing up in Los Angeles, her many years as a reporter and anchor at NPR, how the Trump presidency has changed the way she approaches her show and her activities outside the studio, which include painting.
