Judaism 101 - Shiur #9 - Is a Godly Revelation Necessary?

Now that we have shown that there is a design to our world which in turn indicates that there is a purpose, we have come to expect a revelation of that purpose. The question is, do we need an "external" revelation from God to teach us that purpose or is an "internal" examination of this world enough to explain why the universe came into being?
