Thank you for joining us for another episode of the Low Carb MD Podcast. Roxana was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and proscribed a plant based diet in which vegetable oils replaced animal fats. After many unsuccessful attempts at losing weight while following this diet, she discovered the keto diet. Over time, she also learned to avoid nightshades in order to help reduce the symptoms of her arthritis.
