Cynthia also began to incorporate IF with her patients. In 2018, Cynthia did a Ted Talk on women and IF, and it went viral. She has been awarded Health Influencer of the Year , and is highly respected in the world of IF. In this episode, Cynthia discusses how IF helps regulate hormones, such as leptin and ghrelin. She notes that there is a great deal of "fear mongering" as it comes to women and fasting. This has made her passionate in educating women on the power of IF.
