She struggled with her weight as a child and was put on her first diet at 11 years old. After several traumatic childhood events, food became her source of comfort. Wendy tried countless diets over the course of thirty years, and by 2017, she was at her highest weight of 285 pounds. Desperate, Wendy had gastric bypass surgery and was able to lose 80 pounds. A year later, she discovered IF through a bariatric program, and began her IF journey right away. Wendy has healed her relationship with food and feels at peace in her body.
