She shares that she never struggled with her weight until having children, which began the constant search to find the perfect diet. By January of 2019, she had dieted her way up to her highest weight of 150 pounds. At this point, Lanice gave up: "This is it," she declared, and settled into wearing “big clothes.” In July of that same year, Lanice came across a Facebook post about Keto, and noticed someone's comment to read Delay, Don't Deny .
