She was thin as a child and teen but after having children, she struggled with her weight. She tried her first diet in 2008 when she reached 204 pounds, and she managed to lose weight. But this began years of yo-yo dieting. It was also at this time Kerry was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and put on medication. In September of 2021, Kerry was desperate to find something that would not only honor her body but could be done long term. A co-worker shared IF and Gin’s books and Kerry immediately began her IF lifestyle. Kerry has lost 66 pounds. She has decreased her colitis medication, her skin has improved, and she feels confident in her body. Kerry’s advice: Take pictures and measurements before you begin your IF journey. Find support.
