She shares that she was always thin, but after getting married and having children, began to struggle with her weight. Kris learned of IF from a close friend whose doctor had recommended it. Kris read both Delay, Don't Deny and The Obesity Code , and began her IF journey on July 1, 2019. She started with 16:8, and easily moved to 18:6. Kris knew right away that IF would be something she would do for the rest of her life. This mindset helped her to settle into this new lifestyle. Kris went from her highest weight of 190 pounds to around 152-155 pounds, and from a size 14 to a size 8-10. She has experienced wonderful health benefits: her skin tags, mouth sores and plantar fasciitis are gone, and she is no longer prediabetic! Kris' advice to the new IFer: Take "before" pictures.
