She did not struggle with her weight until she began to have children. With each pregnancy, she would gain a size. In 2017, her son was diagnosed with a mental illness that caused him to move home. Dexter’s depression and paranoia were debilitating, and he took his own life in 2021. In her overwhelming grief, Kristy found herself eating for comfort. Kristy’s weight climbed, and she found herself at her highest weight of 162 pounds. She learned about IF from a friend on Facebook who shared Delay, Don’t Deny. Kristy began her IF journey in May of 2021 with a 16:8 protocol. Kristy has lost 31 pounds and will live the IF lifestyle forever.
