The moment I heard the symptoms and description of what has come to be known as "Covid Long Haul", I knew it was TMS. I have been treating brain fog, chest pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, burning throat and mouth, and myriad other related symptoms for years. As soon as people align themselves with the belief that all of these ailments are being generated by an exaggerated "fight or flight" response in the Brain and Nervous System, and do the work to move into "rest and repair", the symptoms resolve. It is always the way. But Covid Long Haul carries with it extra fear and meaning, as Covid has transformed the world and our attention to our health. I knew immediately when I heard about Long Haulers that these symptoms were no longer connected to the virus itself, but had been picked up by the MINDBODY system and could only be cured by engaging with it, not medicating or using other body-centric therapies.
