S3 Ep7: Deconstructing Anger and Grief with Lisa Rinna

Lisa Rinna has been on your screen for years, but rarely has the controversy over her anger been so great. We became acquainted when Lisa reached out for help with the grief of losing her mother, a beacon of strength and support in her life. Once she began a JournalSpeak practice, Lisa began to feel the relief of connection with authenticity, which was made manifest right in front of the camera when she broke down during an angry exchange on the show. We sat down to chat about this event, but what I didn't know at the time was she was also being widely criticized for her anger and bullying on the show. This gave us fertile ground for a conversation about how we are all unique in the way we move through our emotional experiences, yet still so similar underneath. I offer this episode as an invitation to give ourselves, and others, a little grace when it comes to this human experience. Healing is messy, and the road to different is uncomfortable.
