The Fortinet Championship in Napa Valley showcased Sahith Thegaala's first win in his your career, and some solid play from Ryder Cup teammates Justin Thomas and Max Homa (2:05). The DP World Tour's BMW PGA Championship included every member of the European Ryder Cup team, and incredible play from team rookie Ludvig Aberg (5:04). This week on our YouTube channel, Alex's video of his attempted 36 for 36 is live, and coming up on Friday is Alex's trip to the PBR event in Austin a few weeks ago (6:13). This week in Spain the ladies gather for the Solheim Cup, featuring four past CoL guests. Michael wonders if the young American squad can stop the bleeding and claim a victory after 2 straight losses (7:22). In Tuned In, Michael is still playing the massive game Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom some four months after starting, and Alex is not happy with the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce rumors (10:00). This week's guest is a close up magician, golfer, and the official Director of Magic at Liberty National Golf Club, Lucas Beadoin. Lucas chats with Alex about how he got into magic and golf, what it's like doing close-up magic at one of the most recognizable courses in the world, and deliveries one of the healthiest answers for our 19th hole question (12:42). College football news continues to be all about the Colorado Buffalo, but Alex's picks are nowhere near as perfect (31:23). In the NFL, Michael's Giants somehow are 1-1 after allowing 60 unanswered points in the first 3 halves of their season, and Alex's Patriots have nothing good to talk about after two games (32:50).
