An amateur winner on the PGA TOUR and a rising LPGA star as this week's guest as hosts Alex Lauzon and Michael Russell head to the PGA Show in Orlando. The American Express has a loaded field of Tour veterans, but it was 20 year old Alabama sophomore and amateur Nick Dunlap who reigned supreme, just the fifth amateur to win on TOUR since 1940 (2:06). The LPGA season kicked off in Orlando and Lydia Ko got back into the winner's circle for the 20th time and is on the precipice of the LPGA Hall of Fame before turning 27 (7:27). Rory McIlroy was disappointed last week in Dubai, but avenged the loss with a win as the DP World Tour stayed in Dubai (9:07). This week marks the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, where Alex and Michael will be making the rounds and reporting back next week on the pod and all week on social media (11:10). In the NFL, the Detroit Lions (!) are headed to the NFC Championship game, and Michael's life now depends on them winning the Super Bowl (48:26).
