A weekend at The Desire Cup at TPC Sawgrass for hosts Alex Lauzon and Michael Russell, plus a chat with KVUE's Tyler Feldman on this week's podcast. Alex and Michael met up in the Southeast to visit The Desire Cup, a celebrity charity golf event hosted by Heisman Trophy Winner Danny Wuerffel and his Desire Street Ministry. The guys share what happened at the incredible event, plus some chats with ESPN's Laura Rutledge and Georgia's legendary Lindsey Scott (2:18). The LPGA dropped a huge announcement on Friday that they would be headed to TPC Boston or a brand new event featuring the largest purse outside of the five majors (14:15). Past guest Gemma Dryburgh looks to repeat at this week's Toto Japan Classic and add another smart toilet to her home (16:01). Past guest Vince India was in the news in a bad way this week as he was suspended from golf for six months for gambling (17:34). The PGA TOUR heads to a Tiger Woods' course for the new home of the World Wide Technology Championship in Cabo, Mexico (20:23). This week's guest is Austin's very own Tyler Feldman, who shares his journey from Pittsburgh baby to being a KVUE sports broadcaster in Austin TX. Tyler also shares why it's so important to "Save Muny," what it was like chatting with Ben Crenshaw, and how his own golf game is doing (22:09). Alex's college football picks are not as bad this week, but things weren't good for the Florida Gators in Jacksonville against the Georgia Bulldogs (52:18). In the NFL, the guys' favorite teams are so bad that losing just isn't good enough any more (53:21).
