A massive playoff in Mississippi on the PGA Tour, Halloween movies galore, and former LPGA Major Winner and current Solehim Cup Assistant Captain Angela Stanford on this week's Course of Life, hosted by Alex Lauzon and Michael Russell. The Sanderson Farms Championship ended in a five(!) man playoff and a 45-foot putt gave us some Fall golf drama in Mississippi (1:59). The LPGA was at The Colony in Texas for The Ascendent LPGA, where the ladies had their second straight wire-to-wire champion. Alex was on site early in the week and captured some interviews with players and caddies during the practice rounds (4:02). The TGL and ESPN announced when we'll see the new indoor arena golf events, coming in January on Tuesday evenings (6:10). Patrick Cantlay struck a cord after saying he wanted to get paid for appearing in the Ryder Cup, instead of the traditional donations to charities on player's behalfs (9:15). The PGA Tour heads to Las Vegas for the Shriners Children's Open, where LPGA Superstar Lexi Thompson will try her luck agains the guys (12:54). In Tuned In, Michael is watching the 1963 version of The Haunting , and quickly followed it up with the 2000 remake, but capped it all off with the 2023 Disney film The Haunted Mansion . Meanwhile, Alex is enjoying the new Golden Bachelor on ABC (15:06). This week's guest is Angela Stanford, the 2018 Evian Champion, and now 2-time Solheim Cup Assistant Captain. Chatting with Alex from the Ascendent LPGA in Texas, Angela shares what it was like for Team USA in Spain for the Solheim Cup, plus why she prefers to play in her home state of Texas (19:20). The college football landscape is settling but the Texas Longhorns may not be *back,* but Miami is certainly making dumb plays and Alex's picks finally show some results (37:22). In the NFL, Michael Giants and Alex's Patriots are just horrible, and there's nothing good on the horizon (40:41).
