Episode 45 - WE GOT A GM (Featuring a cameo by that GM)!!

WE GOT A GM! …And it’s none other than Ron Francis, AKA Ronnie Franchise, who comes to NHL Seattle with actual GM experience, two Stanley Cups, and a Hall of Fame playing career on his resume. In this episode of Sound of Hockey, aside from tons of reactionary discussion from Andy, John, and Darren about the hiring, Francis himself actually makes a brief cameo, as Andy had a few minutes to chat with him one-on-one following his introductory press conference. Aside from all the GM talk, of which there is plenty, the guys also discuss an interesting beer league incident that occurred this past week in an effort to determine whether or not Darren was in the wrong. Plus, Darren gives John a big guilt trip, and Andy shares about a major off-season snafu that happened in the AHL.
