Garrett Nussmeier and the offense came out firing early, overwhelming the defense with precision passing and explosive plays — including a deep touchdown connection to Kentucky transfer Barion Brown , who made an immediate splash. When the team moved outdoors for 11-on-11, the defense responded with a dominant stretch, racking up multiple sacks — three of which came from LSU’s newest transfers .
