Michigan Wolverines open 2024 College Football season with win over Fresno State Bulldogs. Michigan Wolverines football begins defense of 2023 College Football National Championship with 30-10 win over Fresno State Bulldogs. Davis Warren started at quarterback for University of Michigan, with Alex Orji also taking snaps under center for the Michigan Wolverines. Michigan Wolverines offense struggled at times, but a 7 play, 75 yard drive capped by an 18 yard touchdown reception from Davis Warren to Colston Loveland helped the Wolverines earn the win. Michigan Defense played well forcing Fresno State into an early turnover and a late interception by Will Johnson which he took all the way back for a defensive Touchdown to help Michigan earn the win. Michigan Defense dominated the majority of the contest.
