Growing up spending time in her mom’s salon in Harlem, Diarrha N’Diaye learned a lot. From her mother’s business, started after her parents immigrated from Senegal with little knowledge of English, Diarrha learned about hard work and the entrepreneurial spirit. But what made a lasting impression was the atmosphere her mother cultivated: one of welcome, of warmth, to come-as-you-are and leave feeling beautiful. Diarrha knew she wanted to create that experience for more people, and an internship with Rebecca Minkoff kicked off her career in beauty and fashion.
