Deepica Mutyala’s fame began with a video gone viral, only the second one she’d ever published on her YouTube channel, in fact. Her tip to use lipstick to even the tone of under eye circles left over 10 million women astounded that they hadn’t heard of this beauty trick before. After years of seeing no women of color represented as beauty influencers, Deepica already had her hopes set on starting her own company, and when her 15 minutes arrived, she took full advantage. Live Tinted wasn’t born overnight, however.
