Welcome to a special release of The BBQ Central Show. Yesterday (3/20/2020) I was able to talk with Nick Solares, noted food writer and one of the foremost authorities on eating in New York City. There are no shortage of places to feed your hunger in the Big Apple, but, given the current state of our world, I was interested to get Nick's take on how the restaurant industry might look once COVID-19 finally resolves itself. His outlook?? Perhaps it's a bit a bit grim, but it also speaks to how restaurants are operating day to day. When something like COVID-19 come along and shuts everything down (for weeks), it can only lead to the demise of many of our favorite eateries.
