In fact I barely had to change last week’s intro paragraph above as it is perfectly fitting! It’s a treat to catch Brett and Sarah in conversation, again in isolation as we deal with the current ongoing situation, and there’s some real nice up top chat about coping in the behind closed doors way in which many of us are. She nails it by referring to the mix of Blitz spirit and despair, but things don’t end there by any means - we hear about how okay her partner is (no really, she’s fine!), the fact that standups face a unique situation in not having that audience feedback of a crowd (which leads to a fantastic idea about doing cold-call crowd work), and of course you get the usual unique observations about life, love, death, the afterlife or lack thereof and all of that good good stuff.
