Trainspotting came together quickly, as director Danny Boyle and his team built on the success of 1995's Shallow Grave . Small problem? Even as the script was being written, the rights to the source book hadn't been secured. With Days Of Thunder , it looks simple: bring the star, producer and director of Top Gun back together, and box office gold would follow.
