It was a busy week in politics as President-elect Donald Trump's transition team announced many of the names he hopes will fill critical roles on his team. Trump also said he'd launch the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE. The commission, led by Tesla CEO Elon Musk and former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, intends to cut government waste and make it work more effectively. However, there is also big economic news, as the Consumer Price Index (CPI) report showed that inflation continues to tick up, prompting Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell to say they will be "cautious" with future rate cuts.
