This week Giles Alderson (The Dare, World of Darkness) is joined by screenwriter and director Stephanie McBain who talks about her journey into making her debut feature Roads, Trees and Honey Bees and how she raised the money on credit and worked two jobs while doing it. We chat with the inspiring Stephanie about how she started off acting and moved to directing after switching courses and having to prep but not make a short as part of her course but after a chance conversation how her friend said she would produce it for her and she went out and actually made it. We chat about how she writes about what she knows and her process behind it and how that led on to wanting to make her debut feature without waiting for something to happen.
