ABOUT COURTNEY HOWARD Courtney Howard is a film critic and entertainment journalist whose work has been published on Variety, SheKnows, Awards Circuit and FreshFiction.tv. In addition to being a member of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA), she’s also a member of the Critic’s Choice Association (CCA, formerly known as the BFCA), the Online Film Critics Society (OFCS) and the Alliance of Women Film Journalists (AWFJ). Born and raised in Northern California, Courtney has had a love of Hollywood ever since seeing her first film in theaters at age 6 (‘E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial’). She learned about movie making craft and theory at BIOLA University, earning a degree in film. She now resides in Southern California with her screenwriter husband and has never met a dachshund she didn’t like.
