Jen Wilkin, JT English, and Kyle Worley are joined by Dr. Tom Schreiner to continue their discussion on the book of Romans by looking at chapter 7. Questions Covered in This Episode: As we enter Romans 7, where is Paul in his line of argumentation? Is there a reason why Paul uses this illustration (V. 1-4)? What is the dynamic of law and Spirit in V. 4-6? What does Paul mean by “law”? What law have we been released from? What does he mean in V. 7? Hold on: Is the law good or bad? Can the law serve as a tutor into the ways of God but under sin it is merely a tyrant? When we get to V. 14 and following, let’s ask the big question: Who is narrating this?
